What to do if you suspect asbestos in tile adhesive?
Before renovation
Order an asbestos survey or take a sample of the tile adhesive and send it to the laboratory. The sample is taken by removing a small piece of tile with adhesives. Remember to wear a respirator and moisten the material to reduce dust.
If asbestos is found
Removal of asbestos-containing tile adhesive is asbestos removal work, which must be done by an authorized asbestos removal company. An alternative to removal
