Asbestos survey in Kymenlaakso

The industrial heritage of Kymenlaakso is written into its buildings: the factory districts of Kotka and Kouvola, the old residential blocks of the port towns and the 1960s–1980s suburbs commonly contain asbestos-bearing materials. Asbestos typically turns up in pipe insulation, roofing, mortars and floor materials. By law, renovating or demolishing a building completed before 1994 requires an asbestos survey (Finnish Government Decree 798/2015). We survey across Kymenlaakso at a fixed price of 239 € incl.
