What factors affect the price?
Site size
A larger item requires more time and more samples, which increases the price. A small bathroom renovation is cheaper than surveying the entire apartment.
Number of samples
Each laboratory sample costs separately. The more different materials there are in the site, the more samples are needed to get a reliable result.
Site location
Travel expenses may affect the price in more remote areas. In the capital region and the largest cities, surveys are done daily, so travel expenses are small.
Urgency
The normal delivery time is usually a few business days. If you need the survey urgently, an additional fee may apply.
Asbestos sample yourself - a cheaper option
If you already know which material you want a sample of, you can take it yourself and mail it to our laboratory. This only costs 39,90€ + VAT per sample and is an excellent option, for example, when you want to verify the asbestos content of an individual material.
Please note, however, that a self-taken sample does not replace a comprehensive asbestos survey by an expert. An expert can identify the materials from which samples should be taken - you may miss an asbestos-containing material that you don't know to suspect.
How do you save on survey costs?
- Order in time - urgent surveys cost more
- Survey everything at once - if you are planning several renovations, map them all at the same time
- Housing associations: combine surveys - surveying several apartments at the same visit is cheaper per apartment
