Asbestos survey in Nokia

An asbestos survey in Nokia becomes relevant whenever a renovation or demolition work is planned at a property built before 1994. In Finland, asbestos was used widely in construction from the 1920s all the way to 1992, and in the older building stock of Nokia it may occur in floor materials, pipe insulation, fixing mortars and roof coverings, among other places. Finnish Government Decree 798/2015 requires an asbestos survey to be commissioned before demolition and repair work begins if the property was built before 1994. The obligation applies to detached houses, terraced houses and apartments in blocks of flats alike. The survey protects the health of workers and residents, and it ensures that the materials are handled and disposed of correctly. Without a proper survey, a renovation cannot lawfully be started in safety.

An asbestos survey in Nokia is a straightforward and smooth-running process. A competent and experienced surveyor arrives at the property in the Pirkanmaa region as agreed and works through it, identifying the materials in which asbestos may occur. The necessary samples are taken from the suspect structures carefully and cleanly. The samples are delivered to the OneLab laboratory, where they are analysed with a precise JEOL SEM-EDS electron microscope in accordance with the international ISO 22262-1 standard. This analysis gives a reliable result as to whether the material contains asbestos and in what form. Once the analysis is complete, you receive a clear written report in your email inbox without delay. The report tells you which materials were examined, what the analysis found and how the work should proceed. The renovation or demolition can then begin safely and in accordance with the regulations.

An AsbestiPro asbestos survey in Nokia is available at a fixed price of 219 € incl. VAT. This clear price covers everything essential, with no surprises: the survey visit to the property itself, all the samples required, the laboratory analysis, the mileage allowance within the Pirkanmaa region, VAT and the finished written report. You therefore pay nothing extra for travel or for individual samples, and you know the total cost before you even place the order. If the job is a demolition site calling for a more comprehensive survey, the additional charge is 100 €. If you only want a single material tested and prefer to handle it yourself, you can order an asbestos sample analysis for 39,90 € plus VAT and send the sample to the laboratory yourself. Residents of Nokia can thus choose the option that best suits their needs, affordably and with a minimum of effort.
