Asbestos survey in Mäntsälä

An asbestos survey applies to virtually every property in Mäntsälä that was built before 1994. Asbestos was widely used in Finnish construction from the 1920s right up until 1992, so older detached houses, terraced houses and farm buildings in the area fall into this risk category. Asbestos can be hidden in flooring materials, pipe insulation, tile adhesive and roofing, among other places. Finnish Government Decree 798/2015 requires an asbestos survey before renovation or demolition of a property built before 1994. The requirement applies equally to a small bathroom renovation and to a larger-scale refurbishment. The survey protects the health of both residents and workers and ensures the work in Mäntsälä is carried out lawfully.

After you place your order, a qualified and experienced surveyor arranges a visit time and comes to the property in Mäntsälä. On site, they systematically examine the structures, identify any materials that may contain asbestos, and take the necessary samples from them. Sampling is carried out carefully, causing as little disruption to the property as possible. The samples taken are sent to the OneLab laboratory, where they are analysed with a precise JEOL SEM-EDS electron microscope in accordance with the international ISO 22262-1 standard. This reliably identifies asbestos fibres and their concentrations. Once the analysis is complete, you receive a clear written report by email quickly. The report states which structures contain asbestos and serves directly as documentation for the upcoming renovation or demolition.

AsbestiPro offers the asbestos survey in Mäntsälä at a clear fixed price of 239 euros incl. VAT. This is an all-in price that includes the site visit, all necessary samples, laboratory analysis at OneLab, travel costs, VAT, and the finished written report. So you don't pay separately for travel or individual samples — you know the cost in advance. For demolition sites, where the survey is more extensive than usual, 100 euros is added to the price. If it's a single material and you'd like to save money, you can also take the asbestos sample yourself and send it for analysis for 39,90 euros plus VAT. This is a convenient option for smaller uncertainties, when you don't need a survey covering the whole property in Mäntsälä.
