Asbestos survey in Uusimaa
Uusimaa is the most densely built region in Finland, and more renovation and demolition happens here than anywhere else in the country. The apartment blocks of the capital region, the terraced houses of the satellite municipalities and the older detached-house areas were largely finished before 1994, when asbestos was a routine building material. Finnish Government Decree 798/2015 requires an asbestos survey before demolition or renovation work in a property of that age. We carry out asbestos surveys throughout Uusimaa at fixed, city-specific prices — from 119 € in the capital region and from 199 € in the satellite municipalities. The price covers the survey visit, all samples, laboratory analysis with a JEOL SEM-EDS electron microscope in accordance with the ISO 22262-1 standard, and the statutory report. Results usually within one business day.
